Kara Fraser, CPSM, CPCM

Principal

Kara Fraser launched her marketing career in the design and construction community in 1988.  Prior to forming PRISM Group in 1995, Kara was the Vice President of a West Coast marketing consulting firm.  Her experience also includes serving as a branch director of marketing for Law Engineering and Environmental Services (1.5 years) and marketing manager for Kleinfelder, Inc. (7.5 years)  

Her Bachelor of Science degree is from San Diego State University in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing.  She is a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) and a Certified Professional Consultant to Management (CPCM). 

Kara served on the consultant nominating committee for the City and County of San Diego for three years.  Additionally, she reviewed proposal/presentations for the Navy and many other developers and contractors.   

In 2001-2002, Kara was president for the San Diego chapter of the Society for Marketing Professional Services. In 1998, she was awarded the "marketer of the year" award from SMPS SD and in 2001 she was nominated as SMPS President of the Year.  Previous involvement includes chair of educational programs, chair of networking groups, webmaster for new chapter website, chair of job bank and committee member for scholarship review.
